Day 1
books-
Big 'Ee' trace
'E' trace page
'E' Do-A-Dot page
Fruit Count- I got this page from a cheap 'workbook', similar to the ones you can get at Dollar Tree.
E is for elephant trace and color
she wanted to color the elephant with her pencil instead of crayons
Elephant count & magnet page- she had to count the elephants and put the same number of pom-pom magnets on it
Ee Play-Doh mats
I tried to put plastic wrap on these since I didn't laminate them, but we ended up just taking it off because it wouldn't stay in place.
Our craft for today was an egg carton elephant. I got the idea from http://www.daniellesplace.com/html/ElephantCrafts.html (who also has tons of extra elephant resources). They turned out so cute!!
I cut the pieces out and then I let her use chalk to color in middle of the ears.
Finished project
Day 2
books-
'E' magnet page
Count and circle- again this came from a cheap 'workbook'
'E' is for Elephant puzzle- I cut this into pieces and used as a puzzle
Clothes Pin color match- match the color word on the clothes pin to the color on the paper
Coloring page
Which is different?
Biggest of all
Elephant color and glue
Our craft for day two was a paper plate elephant. We painted a paper plate, toilet paper roll, and ears gray. Then you just glue everything on and add eyes.
Day 3
books-
Bottle cap match- using letters glued onto bottle caps (Confessionsofahomeschooler.com)
Find the E's- I let her stamp them with her Do-A-Dot markers
E/e sort (COAH)
Sequencing (COAH)
baby E is trying really hard to 'help'
Color by number- she did fairly well on this considering we've never attempted something like this before. (COAH)
Writing practice (COAH)
I guess I didn't get a picture of her doing this, but I but the pages inside of her Crayola Dry Erase board
Which is different?
Count and match to the number
Color match
Shape match
Since I have to do a hand print craft every week, here was ours for letter 'E'.
And that finished up letter 'Ee' for us.
